Welcome to Mrs. Burns' site!
My name is Mrs. Burns, and I am the Special Education teacher for grades 6-12. This is my first year teaching special education full time. I graduated from Northern State University in 1993 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and decided to go back to Northern in 2008 full time to get my Special Edcuation Degree. I am very excited to work with Special Education students and helping them see success in school.
I am married to Brent Burns, and we have three daughter. Our oldest is a senior this year and her name is Taylor. Next is Alexis who is a sophomore and finally but not least is Morgan who is in 5th grade. All of my daughters belong to a dance studio and the older two perform on the Watertown dance teams. I spend most of my free time following them on their dance competitions and watching.
